Camp Counselor Bailey resides in Corinth, New York, on a small scale hobby farm, with her son Jax and their four dogs: Hemi (7 year old Aussie/Kelpi Mixed Breed), Beau (4 year old Olde English Bulldog), Pooters (3 year old rescue French Bulldog), and Benelli (1 year old rescue Boxer).

Bailey's Camp structure:

  • Dogs must attend at least 1 day a week

  • Camp lasts around 2 hours (not including pick up and drop off)

  • Camp is run on public land (preserves, parks and lakes)

  • Campers ride along together in her mini Rover (personal vehicle) so being able to be in close quarters with other dogs is essential to their success at camp

  • Dogs must have a solid recall and loose leash walking skills

Pick up/Drop off zones:

  • Corinth

  • Gansevoort/Wilton

  • South Glens Falls

  • Queensbury

  • Lake George (location dependent)

Bailey has a background in healthcare with a true passion for animals. She started volunteering with a local TNR (trap-neuter-release) group, spent winters working a Off-Track Thoroughbred sanctuary. Her years long devotion to animals, specifically canines, a focal point of her life led to her 3 years on staff at a local canine rescue. These endeavors provided Bailey the opportunity to become familiar with a variety of dog breeds, behaviors, and social patterns. She is no stranger to an animal in need, and has worked alongside a copious amount of professionals to broaden her canine knowledge.

She believes that all dogs, like humans, are individuals with their own unique temperaments and behaviors. She is well informed on behavioral needs and canine body language, thereby affording her the patience necessary to ensure the wellbeing of every dog within her care. Bailey strives to provide enrichment, exercise, and most importantly safety, to any dog that crosses her path.
